About Laser Hair Removal

Silky Smooth Skin with Laser Hair Removal

Shave
Shave the area being treated the night before your appointment.
No Wax
Do not wax in the 4 weeks leading up to your appointment as pigment is required in the hair follicle for the laser to identify the hair and treatment to be effective.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
Allow 4 weeks prior to your treatment if you have had direct sun exposure. (Any kind of tanning or active sunbathing, with or without SPF). Allow 2 weeks prior to your treatment if you have had incidental sun exposure  (stayed in the shade for the majority of the time during sunny periods, with or without SPF on).

Avoid Using Topical Creams
Avoid using topical creams, moisturizers, body oils, colognes or perfumes to the area being treated 24 hours prior to treatment.
If you are unsure, please contact your local clinic and we will be happy to advise you. Please reschedule your appointment if need be.

After Care:
Things to avoid
For 24 hours post-treatment, avoid shaving, waxing, or plucking hair, exfoliation, excessive sweating, swimming or saunas, very hot showers, and tight restrictive clothing.
Avoid exposing the area to direct sunlight for minimum 2-4 weeks after your treatment and always use Sunscreen to protect the skin and maintain results.
